Description: Press cutting with a cartoon satirising the sculpture 'Equivalent VIII' by Carl Andre purchased by Tate for its Collection in 1974. The sculpture, which consisted of 120 fire bricks arranged in a rectangular formation, provoked great controversy about modern art and was referred to by press and public as 'The Bricks'.
