Description: Press cutting satirising the sculpture 'Equivalent VIII' by Carl Andre purchased by Tate in 1974. The sculpture, which consisted of 120 fire bricks arranged in a rectangular formation, provoked great controversy about modern art and was referred to by press and public as 'The Bricks'.
